The first kind of person is to change his destiny or to make his family wise and safe. This is to eliminate disasters and pray for good luck, relieve grievances and settle knots.

The second kind of person is for the sake of human suffering and less happiness, life is crisp, so I wish to live in the Western Paradise World. Not to retreat to the top rank, and then to the Suva, the breadth of all living beings, the achievement of Supreme Buddha fruit.

The third kind of person believes in the self-nature of Meita and the idealistic Pure Land, as the four Zen ancestors, Taoist Master, said:'If the mind is not born and not extinguished, it is pure Buddha territory, not to mention to the West'. The five ancestors of Hong Nin mostly used the phrase "chanting Buddha's name at the same speed to purify the mind". When they read Buddha, they did not expect to survive in the West. But every time they read Buddha, they feel calm and less troubled. Moreover, their heart is more and more in line with Buddha's compassion and willingness. This is exactly what the Sutra of Immeasurable Life says:'The heart is Buddha, the heart is Buddha'. In daily life, such a person can not only benefit himself, but also others concerned. This is because the constant chanting of Buddha will eventually lead to the chanting of Buddha, Samadhi and wisdom. Although they did not seek to live in the pure land, they had to live. When you receive Buddha Samadhi, there is no Buddha outside your heart and no Buddha outside your mind. At that time, Buddha's words can be seen everywhere, and there is no land of non-bliss everywhere.

According to Buddhist law, the first kind of person still belongs to the so-called level of folk belief, the second kind of person belongs to the Buddha who believes in righteousness, and the third kind of person belongs to the good root of excellence. It is unsafe and unrealistic to start with a third kind of person when practicing pure karma because the karma of all living beings is very difficult. However, there are too few demands for Buddha chanting only from the first kind of person's standpoint. The second level is the most reliable way to practise Buddhism and Dharma. It can not only be deeply rooted in good deeds, but also have the current interests of eliminating disasters and cultivating good fortune.
